Without support from donors and community members like you, this program would not be possible. And we mean that literally, not figuratively. 

While Saint John's has grown by 70% in recent years - we now serve up to 270 women and children daily on an annual operating budget a little over $5 million, 42% of that budget is funded entirely through donations. With 300 individuals still on Saint John's waiting list, and a deeper understanding of the long-term effects homelessness has on families, the need for a solution is more urgent today than perhaps ever before. Your participation is key to making real change happen for some of our region's most vulnerable women and children.

Saint John's is different from any other program available. By focusing on the root causes rather than the symptoms of homelessness, Saint John's clients work to break the cycle of dependency and hopelessness by learning how to become independent and successful. They get support to make this happen that allows them to focus on education, sobriety, personal health, building healthy relationships and employment. In the end, they develop confidence and self-esteem, AND they begin to break the cycle. In short, we seek to provide a cure, not just a band-aid.
